My Story

Hi, I'm JF Bigras, the founder of 20 Hundred Games. As someone who has always had a passion for video games and board games, I found myself seeking a way to balance screen time during the Covid-19 pandemic. That's when I discovered the captivating world of Magic: The Gathering™, diving into games with my son and exploring local game stores in California.

As I immersed myself in the intricacies of the game, I quickly realized the need for reliable counters to track abilities and buffs on creatures.

Initially, I used dice, but managing multiple dice per card became confusing and impractical. Metal counters seemed like a promising solution, but they proved hard to read and kept shifting during gameplay.

It was during games with a left-handed friend that I realized erasable tokens left hands and cards messy. Seeking a better solution, I started using poker chips of different colors to represent different abilities. This sparked the idea to create a custom, high-quality poker chip that would be easy to read, handle, and stack.
