Roaming the rooms of Duskmourn in style

Magic: The Gathering™ new set is just around the corner. And a spooky one I would say. A complete 180 degrees from where we currently are with the beloved Bloomburrow. As with all new recent sets, we are being introduced to new mechanics such as Impending, Manifest Dread, Survival and Eerie.
But the one that really sparked my attention is the Room mechanic. Rooms are split permanent cards and are of Enchantment subtype. Each half of the split is called a Door and are independent from each other. When you cast a Room Enchantment, you can pick only one door to unlock by paying its mana cost. The other door remains locked and can only be unlocked at sorcery speed by paying the other half’s mana cost.
What’s in the house of horror ?
From the set spoilers, there are honorable mentions that will make your opponents tread lightly.
Why stop here ? Now we can perpetuate the fun by copying room enchantments already on the battlefield. We can get help from “Mirrormade” or “Yenna, Redtooth Regent” paired up with a “Doubling Season”. This will definitely keep the fun going. As a side note, Room cards that were not cast from the hand will enter the battlefield with both doors locked.
We love new mechanics and like to keep the battlefield organized and clean. So we decided to create a new marker just for the Duskmourn Room mechanic. This allows the players to keep track of which door is still locked and focus on not missing any triggered abilities. They are high quality 39mm ceramic chips. Yes, just like poker chips, but for Magic: the Gathering™.
